The Princess Has Arrived
She is here. My little princess decided to make a surprise appearance on April 1st, 2009. She wasn't due for another week, but the little angel decided she wanted to fool her parents.
CJ is the most precious little girl I've ever seen in my life. Of course I am a bit jaded since I am her mommy. I am truly in love with this little being that has blessed my life. She is such a different baby than her big brother was. She sleeps much of the day, and she's not too bad at night time, either. She hardly ever fusses, and I am adoring dressing her up in her cute little pink outfits.
Her big brother is doing great with the adjustment of not being the only child in the house. He helps out by getting her diapers and wipes whenever she needs changed. He leaps off the couch whenever she fusses in order to kiss her forehead. He also comforts her by saying, "It's okay, it's okay" and strokes her forehead.
It's one of the most odd feelings, saying 'my kids.' It's an awesome feeling to be the mother of two children. Yes, it is trying right now since CJ doesn't like to sleep in her crib at night, but I know this is simply a phase and she will soon grow out of it. She is still the cutest little being I have ever held in my arms, and I feel blessed being her mommy.
